Absolutely gorgeous.
Please join us in collectively dropping our jaws over the work of our incredible Mastermind member, Charlotte!
The details from Charlotte…
The shoot was held at Cams Hall in Fareham, Hampshire in the United Kingdom; a beautiful Georgian house that is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host receptions within the house or outside within a marquee. The shoot was a female same sex shoot with a real couple (Rachael and Sarah).
From the beginning I was incredibly keen on having a female real couple for the shoot, primarily because I think it is incredibly important to promote diversity in the wedding industry which includes LGBTQ+ couples. What brought me more encouragement was the reaction of my fellow suppliers who also felt it was incredibly important to highlight a LGBTQ+ couple.
The shoot itself was designed to be soft, romantic and timeless. We used light pinks as part of the design because it could be inspirational for a couple at any time of the year (especially with regards to floristry). The dresses were chosen to demonstrate how two different dresses can still compliment each other. Similarly with Hair and Makeup we wanted to demonstrate two timeless looks that could inspire couples (brides in particular) to either do themselves or to give to a professional.
As a planner whose brides often have more understated budgets, I wanted to keep our design relatively simple so couples could see that wedding design can be uncomplicated without sacrificing elegance. Our photographer and videographer played with light throughout the day including natural light within the building as well as outside in the grounds.
The shoot was an all female supplier shoot and a mix of newer and more experienced suppliers, as a planner I really like to build networks and collaborations between those with less experience (who sometimes bring new interesting ideas) with those who bring that knowledge and experience.
Please enjoy these inspirational photos!

Advice to couples from Charlotte…
“It is really important to set your priorities early, even if you think as a couple you want different things widen your criteria and you will find common ground.
This shoot was designed to be simple and replicable so that couples can see that you can create a really elegant wedding even if you don’t have a large budget.” ~ Charlotte
